The Quezon Memorial Circle
The Quezon Memorial Circle is a 27-hectare national park located at the heart of Quezon City that creates opportunities for economic exchange, relaxation, and recreation. Liwasang Aurora
Liwasang Aurora is named after Aurora Quezon, the wife of former Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon. It serves as a tribute to Aurora Quezon’s contributions to the country.
An open area with a central water feature (Dancing Fountain) and park bench seating. (5,570 sqm). A circular paved plaza decorated in the style of a compass rose. Along with the adjacent stage, it serves as the venue for significant events to be attended by large crowds, such as concerts, Flash Mob, etc.
Century Hall
An air-conditioned and covered event area with toilets that can be used to celebrate personal milestones, birthday parties, private gatherings, conferences, assemblies, seminars, company activities, and other small gatherings.
People’s Hall
A covered open area served as a venue for small gatherings with a maximum of 300 participants. The venue is surrounded by various trees and plants where visitors can feel the fresh air from nature. This is commonly used for seminars, training, and celebrating special milestones in life.
Ampitheater and Ampitheater Open Space
The Amphitheater is a semi-circular structure with tiered seating that can accommodate many spectators. This venue also has an open-air area surrounded by trees and plants.
This venue, commonly used for various events and performances, provides a space for artists, performers, and local groups to showcase their talents and entertain the public. It is also a venue for community events, festivals, and special occasions.
Basketball and Volleyball Court
Basketball and Volleyball Courts are popular recreational spots for basketball and volleyball enthusiasts. These facilities allow athletes and recreational players to practice their skills and enjoy competitive games.
The facilities surrounding the court include bleachers or seating areas where spectators can watch the games. There are available toilets, including a shower room and sink, which players can use while on the court. Courts are also equipped with light fixtures, nets, and other accessories to support a variety of sports.
These courts are also considered multi-purpose courts, depending on the types of games and activities to be accommodated.
Badminton Court
A rectangular open space divided into two halves by a net, where badminton is played. The use of the court shall be available only on a scheduled basis. Only a maximum of two (2) hours shall be given to the requesting party to give a chance to other individuals or groups who want to use the court, subject to the availability of the facility.
The QMC management does not cover the provision of badminton rackets, shuttlecocks, and other sports equipment; hence, each player is advised to bring their own badminton racket/s and shuttlecock/s.
Chess Area
An open area near Fitness Trail offers space for park visitors to play chess. This facility helps them improve cognitive skills like memory, planning, and problem-solving, which is very good for the health of the mind.
Fitness Trail

The Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC) is a protected area that lies in the heart of Quezon City. This 23-hectare sanctuary serves as both a zoo and a botanical garden, providing a pleasant natural setting in the middle of an urban scene. The center is a popular destination for leisure, entertainment, and education, drawing tourists looking to connect with nature without leaving the city.
NAPWC is under the management and administration of the Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB), a staff bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), responsible in managing the country’s Protected Area System and providing directions for the conservation of the nation’s biodiversity. Its offices are integrated to the overall landscape of the Park.
The NAPWC envisions to be a world-class ecotourism destination and a venue for biodiversity conservation and education on Philippine endemic and rare wild flora and fauna. Its mission is to provide a broad spectrum of outdoor recreational and ecotourism opportunities with areas to play, appreciate the nature and gain delightful experiences.
All year round, the Park becomes the venue for various educational, scientific, civil, religious and recreational activities as well as orchid shows, garden and science fairs as it provides facilities conducive for such events.
Amphitheater
The open-air amphitheater allows the visitors to enjoy an impressive view of the man-made lagoon and can accommodate about 500 – 600 people.
Tea House
The Tea House can accommodate 40 – 50 persons and is ideal for workshops, seminars, meetings and for intimate celebrations.
Fishing Village
The Fishing Village imitates the native fishing villages in Mindanao. It includes five (5) houses on stilts at the edge of the lagoon, which can accommodate 100 – 150 persons. This venue is ideal for wedding receptions and other social functions.
Picnic Sheds
The Park offers five (5) picnic sheds which can be rented by the visitors.
Bulwagan Ninoy
Formerly known as the “Visitor’s Center”, this two-storey building houses several function rooms ideal for meetings, seminars and conferences. It is for official use only.
Gazebo
Gazebo, an open farm-type cottage almost hidden among the lush vegetation in the middle of the lagoon, is for official use.
Leonard Co Native Garden
Found within the premises of Bulwagan Ninoy, the Leonard Co Native Garden was inaugurated in honor of Leonard Co, a botanist and plant taxonomist, who had remarkable contributions in the world of botany.
Don Jose Sanvictores Grove
It was established in honor of Don Jose Sanvictores, a foremost lumberman-conservationist who pioneered the practice of selective logging and the first to implement second cycle harvest in the Aras-asan Timber Co. in Eastern Mindanao.
The four-hectare man-made lagoon serves as habitat for nine (9) species of fish which includes tilapia, carp, mudfish, gouramy, sand goby fish (biya), catfish and silver theraponid. Its depth ranges from 3 to 15 feet.
Another popular site within the Park is the Wildlife Rescue Center. It serves as a repository and rehabilitation facility for confiscated, donated or abandoned wild animals. It serves as a venue for public education, training and research for students, biologists and researchers.
