In the heart of Quezon Memorial Circle stands a silent witness to the bygone era of the Commonwealth period—the Quezon Heritage House. This two-story neoclassical house, which was painted yellow and cream, was originally the Quezon family's weekend residence, giving a reprieve from the responsibilities of political life.
The Quezon Heritage House is a reconstruction of the house at 45 Gilmore Street in New Manila that once housed the family of former President Manuel Quezon. The house was moved into the Quezon Memorial Circle in 2013. The local government relocated and rebuilt it, preserving around 60% of the old house's structure and interior.
The Machuca tiles, which are put on the balcony leading to the second-floor entry, and the sampaguita glass transom panels that grace the main door are two of the elements that have been kept.

The house is furnished with the effects, clothes, and memorabilia of the revered leader, as well as some members of his family.
The term "Cocido Manuel Quezon" alludes to the Spanish-style stew, cocido español, a favorite dish of former Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon. His fondness for the meal was well-known, and a recipe is even available at the Quezon Heritage House on the Quezon Memorial Circle. The meal includes chickpeas, chicken, chorizo, and veggies.
Certain architectural elements of a house carry visible semblance from nature's forceful aesthetics creating sheer eleganc and uncompromised functionality.
A spiral staircase can be drawn from the twisted visual from the shell of a snail. This technology, which was once called 'The Curve of Life', displays a unique radial arrangement of the steps where the flight curls around itself which in turn occupies a minimum amount of space.

The Quezon Heritage House has also played an important part in national history. Within its walls, the Philippine Red Cross was established.
Maria Aurora "Baby" Quezon, the daughter of President Manuel L. Quezon, died in an ambush at age 30 in 1949 along with her mother, Doña Aurora, and Zenaida's husband, at the hands of Huk rebels.

Aurora Quezon is buried a few meters away from her husband inside the Quezon Memorial Shrine in Quezon City.
