Oo tama ang nakita mo sa larawan mula sa itaas. Ang adventure sana naming ito ay sa Mt. Oro with side trip to Payaran Falls kaso biglang naiba ang naging lakad namin dahil sa biglaang desisyon. Nasa jump-off pa lamang kami nang mabanggit sa amin ni Kuya Andy (ang aming naging guide) ang tungkol sa Espadang Bato. Syempre, na-curious kaming lahat kung ano yung sinasabi niya. Agad niyang pinakita sa amin ang litrato nito mula sa kanyang cellphone at nabanggit niya doon lang din ang jump off nito Brgy. Mascap.
Walang pag-aalinlangan ay agad napag-desisyunan ng grupo na sa Espadang Bato na lamang ang aming lakad.
Ito yung na-miss ko eh! Taong 2016 pa ang huli kong akyat ng bundok at ito ay naganap sa Mt. Cayabu - Mt. Maynoba. Hindi katagalan ay may nadaan kaming ilog na sa tuwing tag-ulan ay tumataas ang lebel ng tubig. Dito din naglalaba ang ilang locals ng kanilang mga damit.
Kilala din ang ilan sa mga kabundukan sa Rizal dahil sa mga limestone rocks.
Bago pa man namin marating ang Espadang Bato ay dinala kami ng aming guide sa isang limestone rocks viewdeck nito kung saan matatanaw mo ang ilang karatig bundok katulad ng Mts. Parawagan at Balagbag. Matatanaw din dito ang mga kabahayan sa mga subdivision.
Hindi biro ang trail patungong summit bukod sa nagtutulisang mga limestone rocks ay dagdag pahirap pa ang mga puno ng kawayan na tila hinaharangan kayo sa daan. Kaunting ingat lamang sa mga hahawakang kahoy o anumang bagay along the trail dahil may ilang puno at halaman na maaaring magdulot ng kati.
Katulad ng paulit-ulit kong sinasabi sa mga previous blog posts ko, napakasarap sa pakiramdam yung panandaliang makatakas ka sa ingay ng lungsod. Yung panandaliang iiwan mo ang modernong pamumuhay at makikihalubilo ka sa kalikasan. Yung lalasapin mo ang hangin na walang halong usok na nagmumula sa polusyon. Yung ma-e-enjoy mo ang katahimikan at tanging maririnig mo lamang ay tinig ng mga ibon na tila bagang hinihele ka at gugustuhin mong matulog pangsamantala. Kay sarap!
